Iron Sulfide, Ferro Sulphur Ferro Sulphur is a Ferro Alloy composed of iron and sulphur with sulphur content ranging between 40% and 50%, with this content being what defines the quality of the product. Our main products are high quality ferro sulphur, pyrite, FeS2 lumps and its powder, the sulphur content is 45% min. This range of chemical is widely used as a resulphurizing agent in the production of carbon, alloy and stainless types of free cutting steels. It improves mechanical properties of steel castings which are used to manufacture steel components. Now, its main use is in the production of sulphuric acid.
Pyrite
The mineral pyrite, or iron pyrite, also known as fool's gold, is an iron sulfide with the chemical formula Fe S2. Pyrite is considered the most common of the sulfide minerals.
Pyrite's metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool's gold. The color has also led to the nicknames brass, brazzle, and Brazil, primarily used to refer to pyrite found in coal.
